Private practice · Albert Park & online

Private sessions.

I see a limited number of private clients from my practice in Albert Park, and online across Australia, counselling, art therapy and play-based work for children, teens, parents and families.

Children (5 to 14)

Big feelings, anxiety, anger, school refusal, friendship stress, screens and gaming, grief and change. Play, art and body-based work rather than sitting still and talking.

Teens

Identity, overwhelm, self-worth, social media, family conflict. A space that isn't school and isn't home.

Parents & carers

Coaching for the adult in the room, regulating yourself first, holding boundaries, repairing after the blow-up.

Families & co-parents

Separation, the messy middle, blended families, rebuilding trust and communication after a hard season.

How it works

Three steps, no waitlist maze.

  1. 1. Enquiry

Send a short note about who the session is for and what's happening. I'll reply with availability and what I think would help most.

  2. 2. Parent intake session

We start with an intake session that is just with the parents. We map what's going on, what's already working, and where we're heading.

  3. 3. Sessions with your child

From there we move into the sessions with your child. Usually weekly or fortnightly to begin with, then spaced out. You leave every session with something practical to use at home.

Weekly online group session · Low cost

Answers without a six-month wait.

I know funds are tight for a lot of families, especially with all the NDIS changes, and that the wait for a psychologist can be long. Each week I hold an online space for parents and carers who need support and answers now.

You send your questions each week, and I answer them live in the session. You'll hear other people's questions too, which can bring relief and help you feel less alone.

As a mum myself, who has been through some really big things, I know how much it matters to have immediate support. I created this space as the best way I know to support people who need quick answers, without the wait.

  • Everyone on screen. Everyone joins on camera so I can see who is in the room, which keeps the space safe for everyone. You don't need to share your name, you can simply watch and listen, and you can submit your questions for me to answer. It's a shared space, and everything you hear stays in the room.
  • Not recorded, ever. For privacy, these sessions are not recorded, so if you can't make a particular time, you can always come along to the next one.
  • Wednesdays, 9:30am AEST, online. One hour, from anywhere in Australia and overseas.
  • Submit your questions. Each week can be a different subject: big feelings, self-regulation, resilience, school refusal, screens, separation, or whatever is happening for you that week that you need support on.
  • $35 per week, no lock-in. Come to as many or as few sessions as you like. Sessions aren't compulsory each week, just come along when you need something answered.

A gentle note: without knowing your full history, it's very hard to speak to every circumstance. These sessions offer general support and guidance rather than individual counselling, and I'll always point you towards the right next step if your situation needs more.

If you'd like a one-on-one session instead, you can book here and I'll be in touch about availability.

If you would like to explore whether a private session could help, get in touch and share a little about the support you are looking for. I will reply with current availability, fees and the next steps.
